The shading has a sketchy feel to it. Pieces can become cleaner and more controlled for a more impactful look or for more realism (whichever way you prefer to go). I would also add some form of a background and... every drawing should try to tell a story. Even if it's a character sketch. So... backgrounds, lines of motions, different angles to see the person/object in... narrative works, complex fields of vision and gazes, other people (both for contrat and comparison, could be close or far away...). I do a lot of "one character on a white background drawings" but I tend to add like a square in the background... even that brings out contrast and a fell and composition to the work. Give it a try. Frame your character and let her break the frame when she needs to.
